Corona Australis or The Southern Crown is one of the 88 constellations modern astronomers have divided the sky into. It's part of the Hercules constellation family. Corona Australis is best seen in August (from latitudes +40° to -90°).
Found at the feet of Sagittarius, the crown lies in the Southern hemisphere and was originally known as a wreath. Other cultures have likened the pattern to a turtle, ostrich nest, or a tent. Corona Australis is formed with four main stars and is neighbors with Scorpius, Ara, Sagittarius, and Telescopium.
