Pisces (The Fish): gift, map and visability
- Meaning: The Fish
- Best seen in: November
- Family: Zodiac
- Latitude: +90° to -65°
Pisces or The Fish is one of the 88 constellations modern astronomers have divided the sky into. It's part of the Zodiac constellation family. Pisces is best seen in November (from latitudes +90° to -65°).
This ancient constellation of the zodiac is in the shape of two fish attached by the tail to a long cord. Pieces are located near the square of Pegasus. The ancient Greeks believe that the goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros changed themselves into fish to escape the sea monster Typhon. The cord holds mother and son together as they swim. People born under the sign Pieces are said to be devoted, imaginative, and accepting.
