Sculptor or The Sculptor is one of the 88 constellations modern astronomers have divided the sky into. It's part of the Lacaille constellation family. Sculptor is best seen in november (from latitudes +50° to -90°).

The constellation consists of a carved head on a tripod table, with the artist’s mallet and two chisels on a block of marble next to it. It contains 15 major stars and its brightest star, Alpha Sculptoris, is a blue-white giant situated 780 light years. Sculptor contains the South Galactic Pole, which is where the majority of the stars in our Milky Way galaxy are concentrated. It neighbors Phoenix, Grus, and Cetus.
