How to use a star map to find your star?
The OSR Star Map makes it easy to locate your star in the night sky. Included in every Gift Pack, this map displays visible stars and constellations in both hemispheres.
To get started, choose the side of the rotating star chart that matches your viewing location – Northern or Southern Hemisphere. Next, use the outer circle to find the right ascension (RA) of your star, measured in hours. Then, follow the declination (Dec) coordinates to pinpoint its exact position in the sky. With a little patience, you’ll soon be gazing at your very own star!
