Necessities

These are the supplies for making your own Christmas star:

  • The glow-in-the-dark star sticker
  • A4 paper in your favorite colors
  • Scissors
  • A pen
  • Glue
  • A toilet roll
  • And maybe some glitter, stickers or other decorations.

Step 1: Fold your own Christmas star

Take an A4 sheet and fold the paper in half from top to bottom. Then fold the paper in half once more, but flatten the paper only on the left side. Then fold the paper back. Next, fold the top right corner to the fold line on the left side of the paper. Then fold the triangle at the top left over the paper to the bottom right. As a final step, fold the paper to the right.

Step 2: Cut your Christmas star

Grab your scissors and cut the tip off the paper. Then unfold the paper. Now you have your first star in front of you!

Step 3: Cut a second star

Easily make the same star by tracing the first star on paper. Then cut it out.

Step 4: Paste your stars

Stick both stars on one side of a toilet roll. You can also decorate your toilet roll as desired for when you cut a smaller star.

Step 5: Put your glow-in-the-dark star sticker on your DIY star!

Carefully remove the glow-in-the-dark star sticker from the OSR code explanation sheet. Then stick it on one of the two stars.

Step 6: Done!

Slide your glow-in-the-dark Christmas star over the top branch of your Christmas tree and you’re done!

⭐ Tip: Do you really want a magical glow-in-the-dark result? Shine enough light on the glow-in-the-dark star sticker. The star will then charge itself. Make sure it is very dark afterwards, because at twilight the star can also give off some stored light.
