Did you know that your weight and age here on Earth is not the same as what your weight and age would be on other planets? Lets travel around our Solar System to explore the difference all those light-years and atmospheres make on your planetary person.

Grab your calculators as you are going to be astonished!

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Mercury?

This planet is the closest one to the Sun. Because of this location, it doesn’t have an atmosphere to help it retain its heat. Depending on which part of Mercury you landed on you could instantly freeze as the temperature plummets below -328 degrees Fahrenheit (-200 degrees Celsius). On the other side of Mercury you could sizzle away as the temperature rises to a whopping 750 degrees Fahrenheit (400 degrees Celsius).

What is your Solar Size on Mercury?  Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 0.38.  For example, if you weigh 55 pounds on Earth your weight is 20.9 pounds on Mercury.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Mercury year is 0.0241 earth years, take your age and divide it by 0.0241.  For example, if you are 9 years-old here on Earth, you would be 373 Mercury years-old.

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Venus?

Venus is only 67 million miles away. It is the closest planet to us and can be seen without a telescope. It’s atmosphere is mostly covered by clouds made up of sulphuric acid and water vapor.

What is your Solar Size on Venus?  Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 0.91  For example, if you weigh 80 pounds on Earth your weight is 72.8 pounds on Venus.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Venus year is 0.615 earth years, take your age and divide it by 0.615.  For example, if you are 8 years-old here on Earth, you would be 13 Venus years-old.

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Mars?

There’s been a lot of talk about Mars. This planet is being scoured for signs of life, but so far nothing has turned up. Check out what you would weigh and how old you would be if you were the first person on Mars.

What is your Solar Size on Mars?  Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 0.38.  For example, if you weigh 95 pounds on Earth your Martian weight is  36.1 pounds.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Martian year is 1.88 earth years, take your age and divide it by 1.88.  For example, if you are 10 years-old here on Earth, you would be only 0.188 in Martian years.

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Jupiter?

This gas giant is considered the King of all the planets. This is because it measures in at a whopping size of 88,700 miles in diameter (142,750 kilometers). Since Jupiter is so large, do you think you would be bigger or smaller on this planet? Let’s find out…

What is your Solar Size on Jupiter?  Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 2.36. For example, if you weigh 80 pounds on Earth your Jupiter weight is  188.8 pounds.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Jupiter year is 11.9 earth years, take your age and divide it by 11.9. For example, if you are 12 years-old here on Earth, you would be one in Jupiter years.

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Saturn?

This planet is well known for being the “one with the rings.” Scientists believe these rings are made up of trillions of chunks and bits of ice. Your size isn’t the only thing that would change if you landed on Saturn. You wouldn’t be able to breath as the atmosphere is mostly made up of helium and hydrogen.

What is your Solar Size on Saturn? Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 0.91. For example, if you weigh 90 pounds on Earth your Saturn weight is 81.9 pounds.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Saturn year is 29.5 earth years, take your age and divide it by 29.5.  For example, if you are 11 years-old here on Earth, you would be 0.37 in Saturn years.

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Uranus?

Frozen methane and ammonia is what you’d find if you were to step onto Uranus. This planet spins so fast that 25 percent of the time, one pole is in complete darkness.

What is your Solar Size on Uranus?  Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 0.89. For example, if you weigh 100 pounds on Earth your Uranus weight is 89 pounds.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Uranus year is 84 earth years, take your age and divide it by 84.  For example, if you are 12 years-old here on Earth, you would be 0.14 in Uranus years.

Who Is Your Planetary Person on Neptune?

Did you know that Neptune is super-cold?  Forget about playing outside, the average temperature is -346 degrees Fahrenheit (-210 degrees Celsius). Now that’s frosty!

What is your Solar Size on Neptune?  Take your weight and multiply it by the gravitational pull, which is 1.12. For example, if you weigh 105 pounds on Earth your Neptune weight is 128 pounds.

What is Your Space Age?  Since one Neptune year is 165 earth years, take your age and divide it by 165.  For example, if you are 13 years-old here on Earth, you would be 0.07 in Neptune years.
