Stanton Friedman UFO Researcher
Stanton Friedman spent 60 years researching the UFO phenomenon. Read on to learn more about his amazing career.
Some people believe in Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), while others do not. In 1970, famed physicist Stanton Friedman left his full-time career to investigate UFOs. Why did he make this career move? It may have to do with the fact Stanton worked on the Roswell UFO incident in 1947. He was the first civilian to document the Roswell site. Furthermore, his research supported the hypothesis that it was a genuine crash of an extraterrestrial spacecraft.
Stanton Friedman Early Career
After attending Rutgers University for two years, Mr. Friedman earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics from the University of Chicago. Mr. Friedman worked 14 years for major corporations on projects like rockets and compact nuclear plants for space. Furthermore, he worked on advanced, classified programs on nuclear aircraft, fission, and fusion rockets. Additionally, his work involved compact nuclear power plants for space applications.
After leaving his career as a physicist, he worked compelled him to give lectures and write books. He lectures at more than 600 colleges and to more than 100 professional groups in 50 states, 10 provinces, and 19 countries outside the US. Stanton wrote five books on the topic of UFOs.
Stanton Friedman Convictions
Mr. Friedman’s Convictions: As a nuclear physicist who has had a serious interest in flying saucers since 1958, I have reached four major conclusions:
- The evidence is overwhelming that Planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft. In other words, SOME UFOs are alien spacecraft. Most are not.
- The subject of flying saucers represents a kind of Cosmic Watergate, meaning that some few people in major governments had known since July 1947, when two crashed saucers and several alien bodies were recovered in New Mexico, that indeed SOME UFOs are ET. As noted in 1950, it’s the most classified U.S. topic.
- None of the arguments made against conclusions One and Two by a small group of debunkers such as Carl Sagan, my University of Chicago classmate for three years, can stand up to careful scrutiny.
- The Flying Saucer story is the biggest story of the millennium: visits to Planet Earth by aliens and the U.S. government’s cover-up of the best data (the bodies and wreckage) for over fifty years. (Friedman, 2019)
Arguments for Aliens
Stanton did not accept the United States government reports that spaceships and aliens were weather balloons. He argued that the United States government had engaged in a “cosmic Watergate” to cover up evidence of alien landings. For example, he believed the events that took place in 1947 on a ranch near Roswell, N.M. were alien-related.
He also scoffed at the idea that aliens would not fly in flying saucers, as pointed out by SETI. SETI stands for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Instead, Friedman believed that intelligent creatures such as aliens would surely use flying saucers for travel to Earth. He firmly believed that the United States agencies NSA and CIA withheld information from the world. Why? Out of fear that the world would learn the truth.
Mr. Friedman acknowledged that he had never met an alien or seen a flying saucer. But that did not deter him from believing that they existed and that they had landed on Earth.
