Horologium or The Clock is one of the 88 constellations modern astronomers have divided the sky into. It's part of the Lacaille constellation family. Horologium is best seen in december (from latitudes +20° to -90°).
Horologium has six main stars that make up its shape. The Horologium Supercluster contains around 5,000 galaxy groups. It is about 550 million light years across. The brightest star is used to represent the pendulum in some drawings the weights of the clock in other drawings. One of the stars, Iota Horologii, also has a Jupiter sized planet in its orbit.
