Ge\u00e7mi\u015fte kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar i\u00e7in ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi\u011fimiz uzay g\u00f6revleri Giotto ve Rosetta\u2019n\u0131n muazzam bilimsel ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131 rakipsizdi ancak \u015fimdi bu ba\u015far\u0131n\u0131n \u00fczerine hi\u00e7 bozulmam\u0131\u015f bir kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 ziyaret etme veya Oumuamua benzeri y\u0131ld\u0131zlararas\u0131 bir cisme haz\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 olmay\u0131 ekliyoruz.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130ncelenecek herhangi bir kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z muhtemelen Oort bulutundan geliyor olacak. Bu bulutun G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi\u2019nin en d\u0131\u015f k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 sard\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n<p>Bu b\u00f6lgeden gelecek kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi\u2019nin olu\u015fumundan bu yana neredeyse hi\u00e7 bozulmam\u0131\u015f durumdalar. Bu sayede milyarlarca y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine ait uzay cisimlerinin olu\u015funa \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutabilirler.<\/p>\n<p>Uzay g\u00f6revinin hedeflerinden birisi de uzay ajans\u0131n\u0131n \u201cy\u0131ld\u0131zlararas\u0131 ziyaret\u00e7iler\u201d ismini verdi\u011fi di\u011fer y\u0131ld\u0131z sistemlerinden gelen g\u00f6k cisimleri olacak. Ancak b\u00f6yle vakalar kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n Oort bulutundan kopmas\u0131na g\u00f6re \u00e7ok daha nadir ger\u00e7ekle\u015fiyor.<\/p>\n<p>Muhtemelen Kuyruklu Y\u0131ld\u0131z Avc\u0131s\u0131 uzaya f\u0131rlat\u0131lacak ve incelemeye uygun bir kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fana kadar uzayda bekleyecek.<\/p>\n<p>Hasinger \u201cBu t\u00fcr yenilik\u00e7i uzay g\u00f6revlerinin, \u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fczdeki on y\u0131llarda evrenin bilimsel ke\u015ffini planlad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z ESA\u2019n\u0131n uzay program\u0131na yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 katk\u0131 \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #15acdf\">Toz, gaz ve kayalardan olu\u015fan y\u0131ld\u0131zlar<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar g\u00fcne\u015f sisteminde hareket eden genellikle donmu\u015f gazlar ve az oranda kaya ile tozdan olu\u015fan d\u00fczensiz \u015fekillere sahip, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck boyutlu k\u00fctlelerdir. Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n \u00e7aplar\u0131 genellikle birka\u00e7 kilometrenin \u00fcst\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131kmaz. K\u00fctlenin ana g\u00f6vdesine \u00e7ekirdek (n\u00fckleus) ad\u0131 verilir. \u00c7ekirdek b\u00fcnyesinde su, metan, nitrojen ve di\u011fer buzlardan bulunur.<\/p>\n<p>Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar g\u00fcne\u015fin etraf\u0131nda \u00e7ok uzun y\u00f6r\u00fcngelere sahiptirler. Sadece G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019e yakla\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131 zaman g\u00f6zle (teleskop kullan\u0131lsa bile) g\u00f6r\u00fclmeye ba\u015flarlar. Normalde son derece so\u011fuk k\u00fctlelerdir; g\u00fcne\u015f \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131 taraf\u0131nda \u0131s\u0131t\u0131lmaya ba\u015flay\u0131nca yap\u0131lar\u0131ndaki buz s\u00fcblimle\u015fmeye (kat\u0131 halden gaz hale ge\u00e7i\u015f) ba\u015flar. Buz kristalleri ve toz, \u00e7ekirdekten solar r\u00fczgarlar ile ayr\u0131lmaya ba\u015flar ve k\u00fctlenin arkas\u0131nda bir \u00e7ift kuyruk olu\u015fturur. D\u00fcnyadan kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 izlerken genellikle g\u00f6zlemledi\u011fimiz, toz kuyruklar\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #15acdf\">Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar nereden gelir<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yirminci y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ortalar\u0131na kadar astronomlar, kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z ve asteroitlerin nas\u0131l olu\u015ftu\u011funa ve nerden geldi\u011fine dair s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 bilgiye sahipti. Asteroitlerin \u00e7ok eskiden olan bir gezegen patlamas\u0131ndan kald\u0131klar\u0131, kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n ise vakumda u\u00e7an kum ve ta\u015f par\u00e7alar\u0131ndan olu\u015ftuklar\u0131na inan\u0131lmaktayd\u0131. Teoriye g\u00f6re ne zaman bu par\u00e7ac\u0131klar bir gezegenin y\u00f6r\u00fcngesine girse, \u00e7ekim kuvveti kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 \u0130\u00e7 G\u00fcne\u015f Sitemine (Merk\u00fcr, Ven\u00fcs, D\u00fcnya ve Mars\u2019\u0131n bulundu\u011fu b\u00f6lge) \u00e7ekmekte ve D\u00fcnya\u2019dan g\u00f6r\u00fclmesini sa\u011flamaktayd\u0131. Fakat zamanla teorilerde baz\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klar\u0131n oldu\u011fu ke\u015ffedildi. Baz\u0131 bilim insanlar\u0131 hareket eden kum k\u00fctleleri teorisinin yetersiz oldu\u011funu iddia etti. Bu teori periyodik olarak G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in yak\u0131n\u0131ndan ge\u00e7en kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlarda her seferinde nas\u0131l bir kuyru\u011fun olu\u015fabildi\u011fini a\u00e7\u0131klayam\u0131yordu. \u00d6nceleri kum tanelerinin g\u00fcne\u015fe yakla\u015f\u0131nca eriyecek \u015fekilde buz ile kapl\u0131 oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcld\u00fc. Fakat bu durumda da az miktardaki buz tek bir ge\u00e7i\u015fte eriyip kaybolacakt\u0131. Geriye kalan tek olas\u0131l\u0131k kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n kum ve ta\u015ftan de\u011fil b\u00fcy\u00fck buz kitlelerinden olu\u015fan kat\u0131 yap\u0131lar olmas\u0131yd\u0131. Bu sonu\u00e7 bilim insanlar\u0131n\u0131 kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n nereden geldi\u011fini ba\u015ftan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeye zorlad\u0131 \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc bu b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckte buz k\u00fctleleri G\u00fcne\u015f Sisteminin sadece belli noktalar\u0131ndan olu\u015fabilirdi.<\/p>\n<p>Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar g\u00fcne\u015f sistemimizdeki iki farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgeden gelmektedir: Kuiper Kemeri ve Oort Bulutu. Bu iki b\u00f6lgede i\u00e7lerinde milyarlarca kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z bar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131r. Fakat geni\u015flikleri o kadar fazlad\u0131r ki hi\u00e7bir kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z birbirine D\u00fcnya ile G\u00fcne\u015fin aras\u0131ndaki mesafeden daha fazla yakla\u015fmaz.<\/p>\n<p>Kuiper Kemeri 3.2 milyar kilometre geni\u015fli\u011findedir; Nept\u00fcn\u2019\u00fcn Y\u00f6r\u00fcngesinin d\u0131\u015f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kar \u00e7\u0131kmaz ba\u015flar, bu g\u00fcne\u015fin 4.8 milyar kilometre uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131ndad\u0131r, ve yakla\u015f\u0131k g\u00fcne\u015ften 8 milyar kilometre uzakl\u0131\u011fa ula\u015f\u0131ncaya kadar devam eder.Kuiper Kemeri buz y\u0131\u011f\u0131nlar\u0131ndan olu\u015fan, yer yer kal\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fen d\u00fcz bir disk \u015feklinde g\u00f6r\u00fcnmektedir. Bilim insanlar\u0131 Kuiper\u2019den gelen kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n, olduklar\u0131 yerlerde, G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemimiz\u2019in gezegensel k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda olu\u015ftu\u011funa inanmaktad\u0131r. Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda Kemer, Kuiper Kemeri Nesneleri (KBOs) ad\u0131na sahip, neredeyse Ay b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde, \u00e7ok daha b\u00fcy\u00fck nesneler bar\u0131nd\u0131rmaktad\u0131r. Bilim insanlar\u0131 bunlar\u0131n baz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n \u201cc\u00fcce gezegenler\u201d oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmektedir. Pluto, UB313 (Eris) ve Ceres bunlara \u00f6rnektir.<\/p>\n<p>Oort Bulutu ise G\u00fcne\u015f Sisteminin en d\u0131\u015f s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131nda G\u00fcne\u015ften 30 trilyon km uzakl\u0131kta bulunur! Bu mesafe bir \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131ndan fazlad\u0131r ve G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemine en yak\u0131n y\u0131ld\u0131za (Proxima Centuari) olan uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n \u00fc\u00e7te biridir. Oort Bulutu Kuiper gibi disk \u015feklinde de\u011fildir, bir topa benzer ve muntazam b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fcktedir. G\u00fcne\u015fin ve geri kalan G\u00fcne\u015f Sisteminin tamam\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7epe\u00e7evre sarar. Milyarlarca buz par\u00e7as\u0131 G\u00fcne\u015fin zay\u0131f \u00e7ekiminde hareket eder.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130lgin\u00e7 bir \u015fekilde bilim insanlar\u0131 Oort Bulutundan gelen kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n Kuiper\u2019den gelenlere g\u00f6rece olarak G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019e daha yak\u0131n olu\u015ftuklar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemektedir. Bu kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar buluttan Sat\u00fcrn, J\u00fcpiter, Uran\u00fcs ve Nept\u00fcn\u2019\u00fcn \u00e7ekim g\u00fcc\u00fc ile d\u0131\u015far\u0131 f\u0131rlat\u0131l\u0131rlar. Bir teoriye g\u00f6re Oort zamanla b\u00fcy\u00fck gezegenlerin \u00e7ekiminden kopan kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlardan G\u00fcne\u015f Sisteminin d\u0131\u015f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kamayanlar taraf\u0131ndan olu\u015fturulmu\u015ftur. Ba\u015fka bir teori ise bu kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda olu\u015fup G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in \u00e7ekim g\u00fcc\u00fcne yakalan\u0131p i\u00e7eri \u00e7ekildi\u011fini s\u00f6ylemektedir.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #15acdf\">Y\u00f6r\u00fcngeler ve y\u0131ld\u0131zlar<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Genellikle 200 y\u0131l ve daha k\u0131sa y\u00f6r\u00fcnge s\u00fcreleri olan kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n Kuiper\u2019den daha uzun y\u00f6r\u00fcnge s\u00fcresine sahip kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n ise Oort\u2019dan geldi\u011fine inan\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Kuyruklu Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n \u00d6zellikleri<br \/>\nKuyruklu Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n yap\u0131lar\u0131 ve ne olduklar\u0131 hususunda pek \u00e7ok yanl\u0131\u015f kan\u0131 bulunmaktad\u0131r. Hatta bu yanl\u0131\u015f anla\u015f\u0131lmalar bir grup insan\u0131n D\u00fcnya\u2019n\u0131n yak\u0131n\u0131ndan ge\u00e7ecek olan Hale-Bopp kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n ruhlar\u0131n\u0131 kurtaracak uzay gemisi oldu\u011funa inanarak intihar etmesine kadar varm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (Heaven\u2019sGate vak\u0131as\u0131). Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar hakk\u0131ndaki \u00f6nemli \u00f6zellikleri s\u0131ralayacak olursak:<\/p>\n<p>Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n ana g\u00f6vdesi buzdan olu\u015fur b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckleri birka\u00e7 metreden birka\u00e7 kilometreye kadar \u00e7\u0131kabilir. Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n y\u00f6r\u00fcngesinin G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019e en yak\u0131n noktas\u0131na \u201cperihelion\u201d G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019e en uzak noktas\u0131na \u201caphelion\u201d denir. G\u00fcne\u015fe yakla\u015ft\u0131k\u00e7a kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z \u0131s\u0131n\u0131r ve yapas\u0131ndaki buz s\u00fcblimle\u015fmeye ba\u015flar. E\u011fer buz kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n y\u00fczeyine yak\u0131nsa, i\u00e7indeki materyalleri d\u0131\u015far\u0131 atan bir mini gayzer olu\u015fur.<br \/>\nD\u00f6k\u00fclen materyaller kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n etraf\u0131nda y\u00f6r\u00fcnge al\u0131r. E\u011fer D\u00fcnya bu y\u00f6r\u00fcngeye yak\u0131n ge\u00e7erse bu materyaller \u201cmeteor ya\u011fmuru\u201d olarak D\u00fcnyaya ya\u011far. <\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #15acdf\">Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n \u00f6zellikleri<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z y\u00f6r\u00fcngesi s\u0131ras\u0131nda G\u00fcne\u015fin yak\u0131n\u0131ndan her ge\u00e7ti\u011finde s\u00fcblimle\u015fme sebebi ile k\u00fctlesinin bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 kaybeder. Yeteri kadar G\u00fcne\u015fin yak\u0131n\u0131ndan ge\u00e7en kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z par\u00e7alan\u0131r ve yok olur. Bunun d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar G\u00fcne\u015fin veya ba\u015fka bir gezegenin \u00e7ok yak\u0131n\u0131ndan ge\u00e7erse de yol olabilir.<br \/>\nKuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar genellikle donmu\u015f su, \u00e7ok so\u011fuk metan, amonyak ve karbondioksit buzlar\u0131ndan olu\u015fur. Bu buzlar belli oranda kaya, toz ve di\u011fer metalik G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi molozlar\u0131 ile kar\u0131\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<br \/>\nKuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n iki kuyru\u011fu vard\u0131r. \u00c7\u0131plak g\u00f6zle g\u00f6r\u00fclebilen toz kuyru\u011fu ve foto\u011fraflanabilen ama \u00e7\u0131plak g\u00f6zle g\u00f6r\u00fclemeyen plazma kuyru\u011fu.<br \/>\nKuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n y\u00f6r\u00fcngeleri genellikle elips \u015feklindedir.<br \/>\nKuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n bir\u00e7o\u011fu Kuiper Kemeri ve Oort bulutunda olu\u015fur. Bunlar G\u00fcne\u015f Sisteminin en d\u0131\u015f iki b\u00f6lgesidir.<br \/>\nKuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar uzay gemileri veya uzayl\u0131 \u00fcstleri de\u011fildir. Olu\u015fum tarihleri G\u00fcne\u015f Sisteminin ilk g\u00fcnlerine ve gezegenlerin olu\u015fumuna kadar uzanan uzay k\u00fctleleridir. <\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #15acdf\">Kuyruklu Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n \u0130simlendirilmesi<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar birka\u00e7 kategoriye ayr\u0131l\u0131r. Bunlar\u0131n en \u00f6nemlisi periyodik olup olmad\u0131klar\u0131d\u0131r. Ge\u00e7mi\u015fte kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar ke\u015ffeden ki\u015finin ismi ile adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131rd\u0131 (Sir Edmond Halley taraf\u0131ndan ke\u015ffedilen Halley Kuyruklu Y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 gibi). Modern zamanda ise kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n isimlendirilmesi Uluslararas\u0131 Astronomi \u00d6rg\u00fct\u00fc (International Astronomical Union) taraf\u0131ndan belirlenen reg\u00fclasyonlar ile yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Her kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131za bir resmi etiket verilir ayn\u0131 zamanda onu ke\u015ffeden ki\u015finin (\u00fc\u00e7 ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z k\u00e2\u015fife kadar) soyad\u0131 ile de tan\u0131mlanabilir. \u0130simlendirme prosed\u00fcr\u00fc \u015fu \u015fekilde i\u015fler: Kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z ke\u015ffedildi\u011fi zaman ona periyodik olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131na g\u00f6re bir harf verilir (P veya C), buna bulundu\u011fu y\u0131l eklenir. Son olarak bulundu\u011fu ay\u0131n hangi yar\u0131s\u0131nda oldu\u011funa g\u00f6re son bir etiket verilir. \u00d6rne\u011fin 2015 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n Oca\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ilk yar\u0131s\u0131nda bulunan periyodik bir kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z P\/2015 A2 ad\u0131n\u0131 al\u0131r. Son zamanlarda bulunan kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu otomatik aletler ve bilgisayarlar ile bulundu\u011fu i\u00e7in soyad\u0131 ile isimlendirilen kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar olduk\u00e7a nadirdir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcnl\u00fc kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar aras\u0131nda periyodik olmayanlardan en iyi bilinenler: Hale-Bopp (C\/1995 O1), Hyakutake (C\/1996 B2), McNaught (C2006 P1), veLovejoy (C\/2011 W3) kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131d\u0131r.
