Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7mek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan genel y\u00f6ntem inan\u0131lmaz derecede zaman al\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r. Hubble, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n y\u00f6r\u00fcngesindeki her 90 dakikal\u0131k periyotta, yaln\u0131zca bir y\u0131ld\u0131z g\u00f6zlemleyebilir.<\/p>\n

Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar DASH adl\u0131 yeni y\u00f6ntem ile, Hubble\u2019\u0131 Cepheid gruplar\u0131na bakmak i\u00e7in \u201cyakala ve \u00e7ek\u201d<\/p>\n

bir kamera (point-to-shoot camera) \u015feklinde kullanarak, normal \u015fartlarda yaln\u0131zca bir foto\u011fraf \u00e7ekebilecekleri s\u00fcrede bir d\u00fczine g\u00f6zlemlemeyi ba\u015fard\u0131lar.<\/p>\n

Bu yeni verilerle Profes\u00f6r Riess ve ekibi, evren i\u00e7indeki mesafeleri belirlemek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan kozmik mesafe merdiveninin temelini g\u00fc\u00e7lendirdi ve kozmosun zaman i\u00e7inde ne kadar h\u0131zl\u0131 geni\u015fledi\u011finin bir de\u011feri olan Hubble sabitini hesaplad\u0131.<\/p>\n

Ekip, Hubble \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerini; \u015eili\u2019deki, ABD\u2019deki ve Avrupa\u2019daki kurumlardan g\u00f6kbilimcilerin olu\u015fturdu\u011fu i\u015fbirli\u011fine dayal\u0131 olan Araucaria Projesi kapsam\u0131nda elde edilen ba\u015fka g\u00f6zlemler ile birle\u015ftirdi. Birle\u015ftirilen g\u00f6zlem sonu\u00e7lar\u0131, SH0ES ekibine Cepheid\u2019in ger\u00e7ek parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7me konusunda, sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 iyile\u015ftirmede yard\u0131mc\u0131 oldu. Biri, evrenin bug\u00fcn ne kadar h\u0131zl\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz gibi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcyor.
