Avrupa Uzay Ajans\u0131’n\u0131n (ESA) kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ifadelere g\u00f6re Messier 3 toplamda yakla\u015f\u0131k 500 bin y\u0131ld\u0131z bar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131yor. D\u00fcnya’dan 34 bin \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131 uzakl\u0131kta yer alan dev y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmesi, 6,2 de\u011ferindeki g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fcn en parlak cisimlerinden birisi olma \u00f6zelli\u011fine sahip. ESA’n\u0131n “g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fcn en g\u00fczel y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmesi” \u015feklinde anlatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 Messier 3, karanl\u0131k ko\u015fullarda \u00e7\u0131plak g\u00f6zle dahi g\u00f6r\u00fclebiliyor.<\/p>\n
Messier 3’\u00fc di\u011fer y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmelerinden ay\u0131ran bir di\u011fer \u00f6zelli\u011fi ise \u00e7ok fazla say\u0131da ‘de\u011fi\u015fen y\u0131ld\u0131z’ i\u00e7ermesi. De\u011fi\u015fen y\u0131ld\u0131zlar, parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman i\u00e7inde de\u011fi\u015febilen y\u0131ld\u0131zlar olarak biliniyor. Messier 3’te bu t\u00fcr y\u0131ld\u0131zlardan \u015fu anda bilindi\u011fi kadar\u0131yla tam 274 tane var. Bunlar\u0131n 170’inin RR Lyrae t\u00fcr\u00fcnde oldu\u011fu tespit edilmi\u015f. RR Lyrae, i\u00e7 dinami\u011findeki de\u011fi\u015fkenlikler nedeniyle k\u0131sa s\u00fcreli periyotlarda parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fen y\u0131ld\u0131zlara deniyor.<\/p>\n
Messier 3 son olarak ‘mavi ba\u015f\u0131bo\u015f’ ismi verilen y\u0131ld\u0131zlardan da \u00e7ok fazla say\u0131da i\u00e7eriyor. K\u00fcresel k\u00fcmedeki di\u011fer y\u0131ld\u0131zlara g\u00f6re \u00e7ok daha parlak ve \u00e7ok daha gen\u00e7 g\u00f6r\u00fcnen mavi ba\u015f\u0131bo\u015flar, ESA’n\u0131n kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ifadelere g\u00f6re astronomide \u00e7ok \u00f6zel bir yere sahip. G\u00f6kbilimciler a\u00e7\u0131k veya k\u00fcresel bir y\u0131ld\u0131z k\u00fcmesindeki b\u00fct\u00fcn y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n ayn\u0131 d\u00f6nemde olu\u015ftu\u011funa inan\u0131yor.
