Perseverance, NASA’n\u0131n G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi’ndeki ba\u015fka bir gezegende ya\u015fam arad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ilk ger\u00e7ek astrobiyoloji g\u00f6revi oldu. G\u00f6kbilimciler, Mars’ta ge\u00e7mi\u015fte s\u0131v\u0131 halde su bulundu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7in ya\u015fam aray\u0131\u015f\u0131nda K\u0131z\u0131l Gezegen, en \u00f6nemli hedeflerden biriydi. Ancak D\u00fcnya d\u0131\u015f\u0131 ya\u015fam aray\u0131\u015f\u0131 onunla da s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 de\u011fil.<\/p>\n
Mars’tan gelecek toprak \u00f6rnekleri; gezegenin ge\u00e7mi\u015fini ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131rken, G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi’ndeki di\u011fer cisimlere y\u00f6nelik g\u00f6revlere de \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutacak. 2017’de NASA, Sat\u00fcrn’\u00fcn uydular\u0131 Titan ve Enceladus’ta ve J\u00fcpiter’in uydusu Europa’daki okyanuslar\u0131, ya\u015fam\u0131n bulunabilece\u011fi en olas\u0131 yerler diye nitelemi\u015fti.<\/p>\n
Uzay ajans\u0131, bu uydular\u0131n yeralt\u0131 okyanuslar\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015fama ev sahipli\u011fi yap\u0131p yapmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmak istiyor. Bu nedenle Perseverance’\u0131n ard\u0131ndan Titan ve Europa’y\u0131 ke\u015ffetmek i\u00e7in iki g\u00f6reve ba\u015flayacak. Hem Perseverance hem de Dragonfly g\u00f6revinde yer alan Astrobiyolog Jorge N\u00fa\u00f1ez, “Europa ve Dragonfly gibi d\u0131\u015f gezegenlere y\u00f6nelik g\u00f6revler \u00e7ok zaman alacak” diyerek, \u015funlar\u0131 s\u00f6yledi:<\/p>\n
“Ancak ya\u015fam olanaklar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan bulunacak her \u015feye a\u00e7\u0131k olmal\u0131y\u0131z: \u00c7evre nas\u0131l evrilir, ya\u015fam yayg\u0131n m\u0131 yoksa nadir mi? Ve d\u0131\u015far\u0131da ne var?”<\/p>\n

Di\u011fer yandan, bilimadamlar\u0131n\u0131n en \u00e7ok ilgisini \u00e7eken karanl\u0131k madde par\u00e7ac\u0131klar\u0131. Onu bulamad\u0131lar ama alg\u0131lanan bu yokluk, karanl\u0131k madde par\u00e7ac\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n k\u00fctlesiyle ilgili s\u0131n\u0131rlamalar olu\u015fturmalar\u0131na olanak sa\u011flad\u0131. \u0130kili, bu s\u0131n\u0131rlamalar\u0131n GCE ile uyumlu oldu\u011funun alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7iziyor.<\/p>\n Yani bu durum, GCE\u2019ye karanl\u0131k maddenin sebep oldu\u011fu anlam\u0131na m\u0131 geliyor? Hay\u0131r ama buna karanl\u0131k maddenin sebep olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 da s\u00f6yleyemeyece\u011fimiz anlam\u0131na geliyor. Temelde, her \u015fey hi\u00e7 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 kadar \u015fa\u015f\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131 ve onu \u00e7\u00f6zmeye ba\u015flamak i\u00e7in fazlas\u0131yla etkileyici bilimsel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara (ve b\u00fcy\u00fck olas\u0131l\u0131kla \u00e7ok daha fazla g\u00f6zlem yapmaya) ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z olacak.
