H\u0131zl\u0131 radyo patlamalar\u0131, Evren\u2019deki en tuhaf gizemler aras\u0131nda bulunuyor. Radyo teleskoplar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan tespit edilen elektromanyetik radyasyondaki son derece k\u0131sa ve ani art\u0131\u015flar, en fazla birka\u00e7 milisaniye s\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Fakat bu k\u0131sa zaman aral\u0131\u011f\u0131nda 500 milyon G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019inkinden daha fazla enerjiyi uzaya sal\u0131yorlar.<\/p>\n

Bug\u00fcne dek tespit edilen h\u0131zl\u0131 radyo patlamalar\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck k\u0131sm\u0131 yaln\u0131zca bir kez ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. \u0130lk 2017’de duyuldu<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00d6te yandan son y\u0131llarda, tekrar eden -fark edilir bir model olmadan tekrarlanan sinyaller patlatan- FRB\u2019leri saptamaya ba\u015flad\u0131k ve 2017\u2019de bilim insanlar\u0131 bunlardan birini kayna\u011f\u0131n\u0131n yak\u0131n\u0131na dek takip etmeyi ba\u015fard\u0131lar.<\/p>\n

Sonras\u0131nda, ge\u00e7en y\u0131l bilim insanlar\u0131, Kanada\u2019da ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen \u2018CHIME\u2019 adl\u0131 deneyin sekiz adet tekrarlanan b\u00fcy\u00fck FRB tespit etti\u011fini ve bunun da bilinen tekrarlanan sinyal say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 10\u2019a ula\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 duyurdu. \u015eimdi de bu yeni tekrarlanan sinyallerden birini -\u2018FRB 180916.J0158 + 65\u2019 ad\u0131 verilen bir sinyal (k\u0131saca FRB 180916)- g\u00f6kbilimciler kayna\u011f\u0131na dek takip ettiler.<\/p>\n

Uluslararas\u0131 bir astronomi ekibi, FRB 180916\u2019ye do\u011fru takip g\u00f6zlemleri ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirebilmek i\u00e7in Avrupa \u00c7ok Uzun Temel hat \u0130nterferometri A\u011f\u0131\u2019na dahil olan sekiz teleskopu kulland\u0131. G\u00f6kbilimciler, be\u015f saatlik zaman diliminde d\u00f6rt yeni patlama daha tespit ettiler; bu ise sinyalin yay\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 kayna\u011fa ula\u015fmalar\u0131na imk\u00e2n tan\u0131d\u0131.<\/p>\n

C\u00fcce galaksiden gelen ses<\/span><\/h2>\n

B\u00f6ylece, kayna\u011f\u0131 saptanan ilk tekrarlanan h\u0131zl\u0131 radyo patlamas\u0131 FRB 121102 oldu. Patlamalar\u0131n 3 milyar \u0131\u015f\u0131ky\u0131l\u0131 mesafede bulunan ve metaller a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan fakir bir c\u00fcce galaksiden kaynakland\u0131\u011f\u0131 anla\u015f\u0131ld\u0131. Sinyal, elektromanyetik radyasyonun bir manyetik alanla etkile\u015fime girmesiyle ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan ve \u2018Faraday etkisi\u2019 ad\u0131 verilen bir olgu nedeniyle bozulmu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Bu durum, FRB 121102\u2019nin galaktik merkezdeki s\u00fcper k\u00fctleli bir kara deli\u011fin etraf\u0131ndaki b\u00f6lgeye benzeyen a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 bir ortamda \u00fcretildi\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcrd\u00fc. \u0130lgin\u00e7tir ki, o da, bir y\u0131ld\u0131z olu\u015fum b\u00f6lgesine yak\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcyordu.<\/p>\n

Evrenin anlam\u0131 y\u0131ld\u0131zlarda sakl\u0131<\/span><\/h2>\n

Son ara\u015ft\u0131rma bu yak\u0131c\u0131 soruyu cevaplayamam\u0131\u015f olabilir ama en az\u0131ndan ne olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlamam\u0131z\u0131 sa\u011flayacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Almanya\u2019da bulunan Max Planck Radyo Astronomi Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc\u2019nde g\u00f6rev yapan Ramesh Karuppusamy, \u201cBu kayna\u011f\u0131n tan\u0131mlanmas\u0131yla, tekrarlanan FRB\u2019lerin kayna\u011f\u0131 olarak g\u00f6sterilen pulsar benzeri sal\u0131mlara kar\u015f\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen tart\u0131\u015fma g\u00fc\u00e7leniyor\u201d diyor.<\/p>\n

\u201cYak\u0131n gelecekte kullan\u0131lacak yeni teleskoplar\u0131n sa\u011flayaca\u011f\u0131 buna benzer yer tespitlerinin e\u015fi\u011findeyiz. Bu bulgular, nihayetinde bu kaynaklar\u0131n ger\u00e7ek do\u011fas\u0131n\u0131 anlamam\u0131za da olanak sa\u011flayacakt\u0131r.\u201d<\/p>\n
