NASA’n\u0131n G\u00fcne\u015f sisteminin d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndaki gezegenleri ara\u015ft\u0131ran teleskobu TESS, bir yerine iki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n etraf\u0131nda d\u00f6nen yeni bir gezegen ke\u015ffetti. Daha \u015fa\u015f\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131 olansa Star Wars kahraman\u0131 Luke Skywalker’\u0131n iki g\u00fcn bat\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 gezegeni Tatooine ile k\u0131yaslanan yeni gezegen, liseli bir stajyer taraf\u0131ndan bulundu.<\/p>\n

D\u00fcnya’n\u0131n 6,9 kat\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcyle yakla\u015f\u0131k Sat\u00fcrn boyutlar\u0131nda olan yeni gezegende ya\u015fam\u0131n bulunma ihtimalinin hayli d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck oldu\u011fu s\u00f6yleniyor. ‘TOI 1338 b’ ad\u0131 verilen yeni g\u00f6k cismi, ayr\u0131ca Pictor tak\u0131my\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131nda yer alan 1.300 \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131 uzakl\u0131ktaki TOI 1338 sisteminin tek gezegeni olarak da biliniyor. TOI 1338 b’nin iki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n etraf\u0131ndaki d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fc 95 g\u00fcn s\u00fcr\u00fcyor. \u0130ki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n birbirinin etraf\u0131ndaki d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcyse 15 g\u00fcnde tamamlan\u0131yor. Y\u0131ld\u0131zlardan biri G\u00fcne\u015f’ten %10 daha b\u00fcy\u00fckken di\u011feriyse G\u00fcne\u015f’in \u00fc\u00e7te biri b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde. Ayr\u0131ca daha so\u011fuk ve daha az \u0131\u015f\u0131k sa\u00e7\u0131yor.<\/p>\n

TOI 1338 gezegeni, ge\u00e7en yaz NASA’da staj yapan lise \u00f6\u011frencisi Wolf Cukier taraf\u0131ndan ke\u015ffedildi. \u0130ki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n birbirlerinin \u00f6n\u00fcnden ge\u00e7ti\u011fi tutulmalar\u0131n verilerini inceleyen Cukier, TOI 1338’den ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 sinyalin \u00f6nce iki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n tutulmas\u0131 oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f ancak zamanlaman\u0131n yanl\u0131\u015f oldu\u011funu fark edince iki y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n bir de gezegene sahip olmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini anlam\u0131\u015f.<\/p>\n

\u0130ki y\u0131ld\u0131z etraf\u0131nda d\u00f6nen gezegenlerin (circumbinary) ke\u015ffedilmesi bir hayli g\u00fc\u00e7. \u0130lki 1993 y\u0131l\u0131nda ke\u015ffedilen bu gezegenlerden \u015fimdiye kadar yaln\u0131zca iki d\u00fczinesi do\u011frulanabildi.<\/p>\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar aras\u0131nda ya\u015fanabilir gezegen g\u00f6zlemlemek<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00d6te yandan NASA, TESS teleskobunun D\u00fcnya boyutlar\u0131nda ve y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131ndan ya\u015fanabilir uzakl\u0131kta olan yeni bir gezegen daha ke\u015ffetti\u011fini a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131. Son \u00f6zellik, gezegende s\u0131v\u0131 su bulunabilece\u011fini g\u00f6steriyor. ‘TOI 700 d’ ad\u0131 verilen yeni gezegenin D\u00fcnya’ya uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n sadece 100 \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu belirtiliyor. D\u00fcnya’ya en yak\u0131n y\u0131ld\u0131z Proxima Centauri’nin uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131ysa 4 \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131.<\/p>\n

TESS ilk etapta gezegeni yanl\u0131\u015f s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. TOI 700 d’yi daha s\u0131cak ve daha b\u00fcy\u00fck olarak tespit eden TESS’in yanl\u0131\u015f\u0131, aralar\u0131nda lise \u00f6\u011frencisi Alton Spencer’\u0131n da bulundu\u011fu amat\u00f6r g\u00f6k bilimciler taraf\u0131ndan d\u00fczeltildi. Benzer gezegenler daha \u00f6nce Kepler Uzay Teleskobu taraf\u0131ndan da ke\u015ffedilmi\u015fti ancak son g\u00f6k cismi, 2018 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flayan TESS’in bu t\u00fcrden ilk ke\u015ffi.<\/p>\n

TOI 700 y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131, G\u00fcne\u015f’in %40’\u0131 boyutlar\u0131nda ve onun neredeyse yar\u0131s\u0131 kadar s\u0131cak. TESS, bu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n etraf\u0131nda 4 gezegen ke\u015ffetti ancak sadece TOI 700 d, y\u0131ld\u0131za ne \u00e7ok yak\u0131n ne de \u00e7ok uzak ve “Goldilocks b\u00f6lgesi” ad\u0131 verilen yerde. Bu b\u00f6lgedeki s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n s\u0131v\u0131 suya izin verebilece\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n

Goldilock ismi, “Goldilock ve \u00dc\u00e7 Ay\u0131” isimli masala g\u00f6nderme yap\u0131yor. Masaldaki bir k\u0131z, \u00fc\u00e7 ayr\u0131 yulaf lapas\u0131ndan hangisinin do\u011fru lapa oldu\u011funu “ne \u00e7ok s\u0131cak ne de \u00e7ok so\u011fuk” oldu\u011funu inceleyerek buluyordu. TOI 700 d, D\u00fcnya’dan %20 daha b\u00fcy\u00fck ve y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n etraf\u0131nda 37 g\u00fcnde d\u00f6n\u00fcyor.
