Halk aras\u0131nda ‘y\u0131ld\u0131z kaymas\u0131’ olarak nitelendirilen meteor ya\u011fmurlar\u0131ndan en etkini olan \u0130kizler g\u00f6k ta\u015f\u0131 ya\u011fmurunu, 3200 Phaethon kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 olu\u015fturuyor. \u201cMeteor ya\u011fmurlar\u0131n\u0131n kral\u0131\u201d olarak bilinen Geminid, 3200 Phaethon adl\u0131 s\u00f6n\u00fck bir kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n, G\u00fcne\u015f etraf\u0131ndaki y\u00f6r\u00fcngesinde d\u00f6nerken arkas\u0131nda b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131 kaya par\u00e7alar\u0131 sonucunda olu\u015fuyor. Gemidler her y\u0131l en iyi meteor ya\u011fmurlar\u0131ndan biri olarak kabul edilir, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc bireysel meteorlar parlakt\u0131r ve zirve g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcnde meteor ak\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 saatte 120 meteor gibi y\u00fcksek oranlarda g\u00f6rebilir. Bilinen kay\u0131tlara g\u00f6re, Geminid meteor du\u015fu neredeyse 200 ya\u015f\u0131nda.<\/p>\n

Meteor ya\u011fmuru, meteorlar\u0131n d\u00fcnya atmosferine girdi\u011fi zaman, uzayda b\u0131rakt\u0131klar\u0131 belirgin \u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131 izin, havan\u0131n y\u00fczeyleriyle s\u00fcrt\u00fc\u015fmesinden do\u011fan k\u0131z\u0131\u015fmas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131z kaymas\u0131<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z ,tek meteor zerrelerinin \u00e7ok k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylersek belki garip g\u00f6r\u00fcnecektir. Ger\u00e7ekte bu zerrelerden baz\u0131lar\u0131 bir toplu i\u011fne ba\u015f\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndedir. Buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k, a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131\u011f\u0131 tonlar\u0131 bulan baz\u0131 meteorlar da vard\u0131r. Meteorlar\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu d\u00fcnyan\u0131n atmosferinden ge\u00e7erken \u0131s\u0131n\u0131n etkisiyle tamamen yok olur. Sadece b\u00fcy\u00fck meteor par\u00e7alar\u0131 d\u00fcnyaya ula\u015fabilir.<\/p>\n

Bilim insanlar\u0131 her g\u00fcn ve gece binlerce meteorun d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne inanmaktad\u0131rlar. Ancak d\u00fcnya y\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fcn b\u00fcy\u00fck bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc suyla kapl\u0131 oldu\u011fundan,d\u00fcnyaya kadar ula\u015fabilen meteorlar\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu okyanuslara ve g\u00f6llere d\u00fc\u015ferler.<\/p>\n

Meteorlar g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcnde tek ve belirli bir y\u00f6nde hareket halinde g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir. Fakat genellikle binlerce meteor bir aradad\u0131r. D\u00fcnya g\u00fcne\u015fin \u00e7evresinde turunu yaparken,bu meteor guruplar\u0131na yakla\u015fabilir. Atmosferin \u00fcst tabakalar\u0131na temasla \u00e7ok k\u0131z\u0131\u015fan meteorlar da bize bir \u201cmeteor ya\u011fmuru\u201d g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fc verir.<\/p>\n

Unicorn’da yak\u0131n zamanda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015fti<\/span><\/h2>\n

Daha \u00f6nce de nadir bir g\u00f6k olay\u0131 olan Alfa Monocerotid meteor ya\u011fmuru ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti. Saatte 400 g\u00f6kta\u015f\u0131 par\u00e7as\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6zlendi\u011fi meteor ya\u011fmuru, Amerika, Avrupa ve Afrika k\u0131tas\u0131ndan per\u015fembe gecesi takip edilebildi. <\/p>\n

Bu epik meteor ya\u011fmuru, Unicorn olarak da isimlendirilen Monoceros tak\u0131m y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131ndan yay\u0131l\u0131yor gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7in Alpha Monocerotidler olarak adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor. G\u00f6zlemleyebildi\u011fimiz di\u011fer meteor ya\u011fmurlar\u0131 gibi Alpha Monocerotid de kuyruklu y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n arkalar\u0131ndan b\u0131rakt\u0131klar\u0131 enkaz izlerine deniyor. Bu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck kaya ve toz taneleri, atmosferden girerken yanarlar ve g\u00f6z kama\u015ft\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 \u0131\u015f\u0131k \u00e7izgileri olu\u015ftururlar. <\/p>\n

Bu \u015fekilde meydana gelen Alpha Monocerotid meteor ya\u011fmuru bundan \u00f6nce 1925, 1935, 1985 ve 1995 y\u0131llar\u0131nda g\u00f6zlemlenmi\u015fti. Bilim insanlar\u0131 ilk \u00fc\u00e7 meteor ya\u011fmurunun ne zaman olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 tahmin edemediler. Ancak SETI Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc ve NASA Ames Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Merkezi\u2019nden Peter Jenniskens, 1995 y\u0131l\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen meteor ya\u011fmurunun zaman\u0131n\u0131 tahmin edebildi. <\/p>\n

Jenniskens, 1995\u2019teki meteor ya\u011fmurunu tahmin ettikten sonra \u0130spanya\u2019da olay\u0131 g\u00f6zlemledi.
