NASA’n\u0131n, Avrupa Uzay Ajans\u0131 (ESA) ve Uzay Teleskobu Bilim Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc (STScl) ile ortakla\u015fa geli\u015ftirdi\u011fi Hubble Uzay Teleskobu, 1990’dan bu yana D\u00fcnya y\u00f6r\u00fcngesinde uzay g\u00f6zlemleri yap\u0131yor.<\/p>\n

Eta Carinae sistemi<\/span><\/h2>\n

Eta Carinae (\u03b7 Carinae veya \u03b7 Car), Karina tak\u0131my\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 i\u00e7inde yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak 7.500 \u0131\u015f\u0131k y\u0131l\u0131 uzakl\u0131kta bulunan bir y\u0131ld\u0131z sistemidir. En az iki y\u0131ld\u0131zdan olu\u015ftu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen sistemin birincil bile\u015feni bir Mavi \u0131\u015f\u0131k de\u011fi\u015feni (LBV) dir. Ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta k\u00fctlesinin 150 g\u00fcne\u015f k\u00fctlesi oldu\u011fu hesaplanan birincil bile\u015fenin, en az 30 g\u00fcne\u015f k\u00fctlesini kaybetti\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. \u015eu an bile\u015fik bolometrik ayd\u0131nlatma g\u00fcc\u00fc G\u00fcne\u015f’in 5 milyon kat\u0131d\u0131r.[4] G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde g\u00f6receli ayr\u0131nt\u0131 ile incelenebilen en b\u00fcy\u00fck y\u0131ld\u0131zd\u0131r. Eta Carinae’y\u0131 \u00e7evreleyen b\u00fcy\u00fck ve kal\u0131n k\u0131rm\u0131z\u0131 bulutsudan dolay\u0131 di\u011fer bile\u015feni optik olarak g\u00f6rmek imkans\u0131zd\u0131r. <\/p>\n

Ancak buna ra\u011fmen 30 g\u00fcne\u015f k\u00fctlesine sahip s\u0131cak bir \u00fcstdevin, birincil etraf\u0131nda y\u00f6r\u00fcngede oldu\u011fu bilinmektedir. Eta Carinae, 165 y\u0131l \u00f6nce gizemli bir \u015fekilde gecenin en parlak 2. y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 haline geldi ve bu yakla\u015f\u0131k 20 y\u0131l s\u00fcrd\u00fc. Etraf\u0131ndaki Homunculus Bulutsusu’nun bu patlama s\u0131ras\u0131nda olu\u015ftu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Bulutsunun merkezinde Eta Carinae’den yans\u0131yan mor renkli \u0131\u015f\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclebilmektedir. Eta Carinae halen beklenmedik patlamalar ge\u00e7irmekte olup, b\u00fcy\u00fck k\u00fctlesi ve de\u011fi\u015fkenli\u011fi onu \u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fczdeki birka\u00e7 milyon y\u0131l i\u00e7erisinde patlayabilecek g\u00f6rkemli bir \u00fcstnova aday\u0131 haline getirmektedir.<\/p>\n

Dev y\u0131ld\u0131zlar pek dengeli say\u0131lmazlar. Do\u011fdu\u011fundan bug\u00fcne kadar kendini olu\u015fturan 30 G\u00fcne\u015f k\u00fctlesi kadar maddeyi \u00e7evreye sa\u00e7\u0131p kaybetti\u011fi hesaplanan Eta Carinae de, tipik bir dev y\u0131ld\u0131z olarak dengesiz do\u011falar\u0131n\u0131n bilinen \u00f6rneklerini bize sergilemekten \u00e7ekinmiyor. Ge\u00e7mi\u015f y\u0131llarda astronomlar bu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n ani parlakl\u0131k de\u011fi\u015fimleri sergiledi\u011fine \u015fahit oldular. 1667 y\u0131l\u0131nda Edmond Halley bu y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131 g\u00f6zlemledi\u011finde, g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcndeki en parlak d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc y\u0131ld\u0131z oldu\u011funu belirtmi\u015fti.<\/p>\n

Ancak daha sonra y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 giderek azald\u0131. 1827 y\u0131l\u0131nda ise yeniden o kadar parlak hale geldi ki, Sirius\u2018tan sonra g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcndeki en parlak ikinci y\u0131ld\u0131z oldu. Sonras\u0131nda parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 giderek azald\u0131 ve 1920\u2018li y\u0131llardan itibaren art\u0131k g\u00f6zle g\u00f6r\u00fclemeyecek kadar solukla\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n
